Spring is in the air…
Happy Spring Equinox!
The sun is stronger, the days are longer and this beautiful lightness is beginning to emerge. Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth, when the earth awakens from its winter slumber and bursts with new life. As yogis, we can tap into this energy and use it to cultivate our own growth and transformation.
Ways to tap into the power of the Spring Equinox

Spring Refresh
Yogis recognize that clutter and excess in our external environment and what we choose to consume (food, media, toxic relationships) affect the clarity of our mental state. In yoga philosophy, Saucha or Purification is listed as one of the fundament principles of the Niyamas (personal observances).
Consider a spring cleanse!
1. Clear out your closet.
Declutter, and practice minimalism. Donate or recycle anything you don't use or need anymore.
2. Take a break from alcohol.
In Chinese medicine the Liver-Gallbladder meridian is on overdrive in the spring. Give your body support to clear its system and reset.
3. Take a media cleanse.
Think about reducing our eliminating the time we spend on our devices. Try to cut out the news & social media or set a daily limit and see how you feel!
